- How do I book an appointment?
- Use the Book Now button to reserve online at go.booker.com/location/makimunayspa. Pick your service and time, pay the 50% deposit, and you are confirmed. Prefer to talk it through first? Call or text (757) 525-5044 and Ingrid will help you choose the right treatment.
- Is a deposit required?
- Yes. Every service requires a 50% deposit at booking, and it is applied to the price of your service.
- What is your cancellation policy?
- There is a 100% cancellation fee for any no-shows or cancellations within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment.
- How should I prepare for a waxing appointment?
- Hair should be at least 1/4 inch long, about 2 to 3 weeks of growth. Exfoliate the day before, and skip deodorant, lotions, and oils on the day of your appointment. Avoid retinol and strong acne products on the area for 3 to 5 days beforehand.
- Are you open Monday and Tuesday?
- Yes. Monday runs 2 PM to 7 PM and Tuesday runs 10 AM to 7 PM. Wednesday is closed, and Thursday through Sunday follow the regular hours.
- Who will be treating me?
- Ingrid Medina, the founder of Maki Munay Spa. She is a licensed massage therapist and a licensed esthetician, so your massage, facial, wax, or body contouring is personally tailored to you from start to finish.
- Can I buy a session as a gift?
- Yes. Call or text and Ingrid will arrange a gift session, including the Maki Relax package.
